Children’s Portraits

PWC Child photography is one of the more exciting types of portraiture I offer.  Younger children are wonderful at letting their natural personalities shine it’s a joy for me to photograph them at play.  And older children are just stepping into new skin and learning about who they are, a prime time to capture a slice of life that passes too quickly.

While I often shoot traditional portraits in a studio, my strength lies in photographing children in their natural, real world environment.  Sometimes that in their room or yard.  Sometimes at a favorite park.   And sometimes it’s some place new that ignites the spark of curiosity which adds a glow to the photographs.  In short, I like to capture kids being kids.

The average session is one to one and a half hours long, depending on the number PWCof children and how they are doing that day.  Parents are always encouraged to join in the photos if they desire as that fun interaction between parent and child makes for fabulous imagery.  I’m accustomed to capturing the spontaneity of play as well as shooting structured portraits if that’s what the child’s personality calls for.

As your photographer, my job is to capture images of your child the way you wish to remember them as they pass through   the enjoyable years of growing up.  My goal is to produce photos you will look back upon five, ten, twenty years from now and remember fondly the days you spent with your children when they were young.

My standard package is $175 and includes:
